May - A Month for Graduations, Gratitute and Celebrations

May is a wonderful time of year!  It's a time for celebrations, graduations and for gratitude.

I would like to start off my message with gratitude.  In March I underwent open heart surgery as many of my patients already know.  Less than two months later, I'm grateful that the surgery was a success and my

Don't Try To Be Perfect --- Just Be Your Best Self!

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful April so far and enjoying every healthy step you are taking along the way to being the best "you" ever.

Think of every day as a wonderful new beginning.  If you're working on eating healthy and have a few days where you are off track, don't throw in the towel and give up because you think you've "blown it."  Write off those days to

Spring is almost here .... A great time to focus on good health

Honestly, it seems as if we were all exchanging holiday greetings just yesterday and now it's almost Spring.  Where has the time gone?  If everyone has focused on their New Year's resolutions in January and stuck with them in February, chances are that you're beginning to see and feel some great results from all your hard work.

Be the Healthiest YOU For Those You Love

February is a time for reminding ourselves about all those we love!  Valentine's Day is not only for those with sweethearts.  It's the time to be grateful for EVERYONE who has brought love into our lives.  Traditionally that's done with gifts of chocolate and flowers.  This year, why not add yourself to the list and "love yourself" by continuing to take good care of your health.

Happy New Year! Happy New YOU!

I've always felt a special energy and excitement about the approach of the New Year.  It's a time of new beginnings and a time to forget past frustrations and mistakes.  No matter what happened in the old year, each of us is presented with a fresh new page to make an imprint on as the New Year begins with pomp, ceremony and excitement.

T'was a Chiropractic Christmas

There would be no visit from jolly St. Nick.

The people were sad; no gaiety sounded.

Thankful Thoughts

We celebrate Thanksgiving on the third Thursday of November and it's always special to spend quality time with family and friends.  It’s those cherished  times that revitalize our spirits and are so important to our sense of well-being.

Thanksgiving is so much more than just a great meal.  It’s all about being thankful for the people in our lives and the blessings that we have.

Destination Wellness - A Journey To Your Best Self

An ancient Chinese proverb explains that "a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."

What is Chiropractic?

According to The Association of Chiropractic Colleges, “chiropractic is a health care discipline which emphasizes the inherent recuperative power of the body to heal itself without the use of drugs or surgery. The practice of chiropractic focuses on the relationship between structure (primarily the spine) and function (as coordinated by the nervous system) and how that relationship affects the preservation and restoration of health.”

Did you know? Young Athletes Injury Update

It is estimated that 30 million children now participate in organized sports including soccer, football, swimming, gymnastics, hockey, skating and baseball. Correspondingly, as participation increases, injuries increase. Sports injuries to young people now exceed the occurrence of infectious disease.
